Jansson has regularly expressed his commitment to Leeds, while also stating his desire to play in the Premier League.
Recently relegated Albion do not fit the bill for a top flight club, but there are reasons why a switch should not be automatically ruled out.

Jansson may simply look at the two squads and feel West Bromwich Albion stand a better chance of promotion than Leeds United do.
