Tottenham Hotspur have impressed this season, but their need for more quality is plain for all to see.

During an interview with SFR Sport, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino once again declared his love for Paris Saint Germain.

He told the French media outlet how he watches as many PSG games that he can:

“I try to watch all I can. And of course, PSG. My team is PSG – I love PSG. I spent nearly three years there.”

With the Argentine openly admitting that he likes to watch the French giants frequently, could there be any players currently plying their trade with Unai Emery’s team whom he would like to bring to White Hart Lane?

Here are three potential options, should Tottenham truly wish to elevate themselves to the next level within the game:

Presnel Kimpembe:

The athletically built 21-year-old centre-back is one of Europe’s hottest properties.

And with Pochettino’s penchant for signing young stars with huge potential, he would seemingly be the ideal addition to the Argentine’s squad.

Marco Verratti:

The Italian is widely considered as one of the best midfielders in the game.

His incredible stamina allows him to influence the game for its’ entirety and his box-to-box playing style would be just what Spurs need, especially when Mousa Dembele is unavailable for selection.

The 24-year-old would not come cheap though, and it would take a seismic shift in Daniel Levy’s transfer policy to bring a player of his ilk to White Hart Lane.

Lucas Moura:

The Brazilian forward would undoubtedly be an upgrade on any of Spurs’ current wide attacking options.

His pace and trickery on the ball would help turn Pochettino’s side into a far more threatening proposition.

And his ability to deliver dangerous crosses into the box could help Harry Kane reach even higher levels.
