Yaya Toure appears to be set to leave Man City at the end of this season, but where could he end up?
According to The Independent, Ivorian midfielder Yaya Toure will sign a pre-contract agreement with another European club this January, before moving for free at the end of the season. His agent, Dimitri Seluk blasted his current club for their treatment of the 33 year old, and insisted that despite the inevitable interest from clubs in China and America, Toure is looking to remain in Europe.
If Toure is looking for a route out of City, then where could he potentially move to? Well, lets take a look at some possible destinations for the four-time African Footballer of the Year.
1. Inter Milan

Inter were rumoured to be interested in Toure under the stewardship of their previous manager, former City boss Roberto Mancini. However, if the prospect of a move to the Italian giants still interested the player, then there’s no question that new head coach Frank de Boer would love to have him at the San Siro.
Toure would face stiff competition for a place in the Inter midfield, but with the club seemingly on the rise as plenty of new talent arrives this summer, might Toure be tempted to join the de Boer revolution at the San Siro?
2. Galatasaray

The path from the Premier League to Turkey is a well trodden one, with many players that have spent their best years in the English top-flight moving to the Super Lig in big money transfers. Galatasaray would not have to pay a penny to bring Toure to the club, but they would almost certainly be able to cough up his significant wages.
The Turkish Cup champions could likely still offer the Ivorian European football next year, so would a move to Istanbul tempt the box-to-box midfielder?
3. PSG

Perhaps one of the more unlikely destinations for Toure, but with the loss of icons Zlatan Ibrahimovic and David Luiz this summer, perhaps PSG will be on the lookout for a new fan’s favourite to sign in January? With the French title holders’ ambition in the Champions League you would think that Toure might face a battle to nail down a starting spot in the side, but the player brings with him the kind of reputation that can match a club of PSG’s stature.
There can be no doubt that Yaya Toure’s signature will be a much coveted one when he looks to find a new club to play for in January. The enigmatic midfield talent, that can turn a game on its head when he’s on top form, is adamant that he still has the fitness to compete at the highest level in Europe. Toure has served City for 6 years, but after being cast out by new manager Pep Guardiola, it may be his next move that decides how he is viewed as a footballer after his playing days are over.
