West Ham United were one of the league’s busiest clubs during the summer transfer window.

Even the most pessimistic of West Ham fans would be hard pushed to suggest that this summer’s transfer window has been anything other than a resounding success.
Manuel Pellegrini brought in nine new faces to the tune of around £100 million, and many fans and pundits alike are predicting that the Hammers will challenge for the European places this season.
There is still the matter of trying to get rid of players who are surplus to requirements at the London Stadium, however, and with the transfer window in all of the other top European leagues not closing until August 31st, there is still time to ship out some of the deadwood.
So who could be on the chopping block at West Ham?
Reece Oxford:
The 19-year-old has failed to establish himself as a first-team regular at West Ham since bursting onto the scene in east London three years ago.
He has been linked with a move to the Bundesliga, with Hannover, RB Leipzig and Frankfurt are all keen on signing him, according to a report from Sky Sports News.
With three weeks remaining until the European window closes, it would be no surprise to see Oxford leave the Hammers this summer.

Edimilson Fernandes:
The Swiss midfielder was brought to West Ham by Slaven Bilic, but he has failed to stamp his authority down on the first-team.
The 22-year-old was linked with a loan switch to Fiorentina during the last few weeks, according to a report from the Evening Standard, but a move eventually failed to materialise.

Pedro Obiang:
The Spaniard was continually linked with an exit from the London Stadium throughout the summer, with Sky Sports claiming that Sampdoria were close to signing him.
Considering the fact that Pellegrini has brought in Jack Wilshere and Carlos Sanchez, though, Obiang’s days in east London might very well be numbered, and it would be no surprise to see him leave the club before the end of the month.
