As Tottenham and transfer news have become synonymous for the past couple of months, we have suggested the 3 players they should consider re-signing.
Which players should Tottenham look to re-sign?
1. Marcus Edwards is exactly the kind of player Tottenham need

Marcus Edwards, who was at Tottenham from 2015 to 2019 has been linked with a move to his former club on a number of occasions.
While the speculation died down during the World Cup, Record had reported that Spurs were keen on re-signing the 24-year-old.
Ironically, Edwards is exactly the kind of player Antonio Conte’s men are crying out for.
The Englishman is a tricky winger with bags of pace and can operate on both flanks.
With Son Heung-min also being in poor form this term, the former Spurs starlet could provide stiff competition to the club legend and give that frontline a facelift.
Whether the switch happens or not is another conversation but Marcus Edwards’ speed and directness would add so much freshness to a stale attack.
2. Going in for Kyle Walker-Peters ticks a number of boxes

Kyle Walker-Peters, who left the club just a year after Marcus Edwards would make for one of Tottenham’s most much-needed transfers.
Emerson Royal’s struggles need no further discussion at this point, while Matt Doherty has been anything but the best version of himself since joining Tottenham.
As for Djed Spence, it remains a mystery why he has been afforded such minimal minutes.
With Walker-Peters providing cover at both right-back and left-back, having the experience of playing in a multitude of tactical systems and entering the second last year of his current deal, it would make sense to re-sign him.
3. Bringing back Kieran Trippier is exactly the kind of transfer news Tottenham fans would love to hear

This is the dream signing and in all honesty, it is more than a tad bit unrealistic to put it lightly.
But since joining Newcastle United, Kieran Trippier has been a revelation.
One could even say that the 32-year-old has bested his displays at Tottenham already.
With many claiming that the England international has been the best right-back in the Premier League this campaign, the biggest way in which Spurs could draw him in is the Antonio Conte factor.
Or by getting top four and luring Trippier into returning to the club to compete in the Champions League again.
