The former Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion manager is being linked with the Swansea City post.

Swansea City are considering an SOS to former Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion manager, Tony Pulis, according to the Mirror.
Current Swansea boss Paul Clement is said to be ‘on the brink’ with the Welsh side bottom of the Premier League table with two wins all season in the competition.
Pulis is regarded as something of a survival specialist, having kept up Crystal Palace and West Brom from similarly bleak positions.
But if the Welshman does arrive at Swansea ahead of the January transfer window, which players is he likely to target?
HITC takes a look…
Joel Ward (Crystal Palace)

Ward played under Pulis at Palace and was linked with a move to West Brom earlier this year, but has since established himself as a regular this season. His contract expires at the end of the campaign, however, and could be open to a reunion at Swansea, who are said to want to strengthen in Ward’s primary position, right-back.
Chris Brunt (West Bromwich Albion)

When fit, Brunt was an almost ever-present during Pulis’ West Brom reign, but the Northern Irishman has found his opportunities limited since the Baggies’ August capture of Kieran Gibbs and is also out of contract in 2018. Swansea have lacked creativity since Gylfi Sigurdsson’s sale to Everton and Brunt, who has 76 combined goals and assists in the Premier League, could prove a useful addition.
Benik Afobe (AFC Bournemouth)

Another of Pulis’ alleged West Brom targets – and one of Palace’s too, according to recent reports – Afobe is down the pecking order of Bournemouth strikers and could seek a move in January. The pacy striker is arguably what Swansea need after struggling in attack this season. However, he could cost eight figures.
