Sunderland are expected to be busy in the transfer market this month.
Sunderland need to make a whole host of new signings this month, but that will be easier said than done, what with the financial restrictions currently in place on Wearside.
Here are three free agents who David Moyes should consider bringing to the Stadium of Light this month:
Sulley Muntari:

The former Inter Milan and AC Milan midfielder is available on a free transfer, following his release from Ittihad FC.
The 32-year-old is a wonderful passer of the football, and has a penchant for shooting from distance.
His experience could prove vital to Sunderland in their hopes of avoiding relegation.
He would also be familiar with his surroundings on Wearside, having spent four months on loan with the Black Cats in 2011.
Raul Meireles:

The 73-capped Portugal international would be a great addition to David Moyes squad.
His ability to score goals from midfield, as a result of his well timed runs into the box, could prove to be a major asset for Sunderland.
The 33-year-old would also be acclimatised to the tempo of the English game, after enjoying spells at Liverpool and Chelsea earlier on in his career.
Diego Poyet:

The former West Ham youngster is an entirely different option to those already mentioned.
The strengths in his game are focused more around high energy levels, but he also possesses superb ability on the football.
And with Jack Rodwell the latest to suffer an injury at Sunderland, the 21-year-old midfielder could be the ideal addition to the Black Cats squad.
