Liverpool are the current Premier League and Champions League holders. Their squad does not require major surgery.
It looks to be another low-key summer at Anfield, perhaps a couple of arrivals to freshen up the squad and keep hunger up.
Aside from that, Adam Lallana and Dejan Lovren have already left the club, representing experienced high-earners getting off the wage bill.
We’ve taken a look at three other players Jurgen Klopp might show the exit door this summer…
Loris Karius
Karius has been pictured back in training with Liverpool after his loan spell at Besiktas came to an end.
He returns to the club to find Adrian has usurped him as Alisson’s deputy.
That role suits the Spaniard, at the age of 33, with his career winding down, but Karius is 27 and still has plenty to give.
He needs to move on and play regular football because there is a good goalkeeper in there who doesn’t deserve to have his career tarnished by the events of Kiev in 2018.
There’s no point him staying at Anfield to be third choice.

Harry Wilson
Perhaps Wilson could offer Liverpool some squad depth in attacking areas, but is he a gamechanger off the bench?
He didn’t do enough at Bournemouth to show that he can be. Wilson would be better moving to a club lower down the Premier League – or chasing promotion from the Championship.
With the European Championship next summer, he needs to be playing regularly to impress Wales boss Ryan Giggs.
The Mirror report Liverpool want £20 million for Wilson, while the Guardian claim Bayern Munich’s asking price for Thiago is just over £27 million. Using one to all but fund the other simply makes sense.

Xherdan Shaqiri
Shaqiri looked an impressive purchase from Stoke in his first season at Anfield, but struggled for games last time around.
His more languid style always looked slightly at odds with Liverpool’s high-tempo approach and that proved to be the case in 2019/20.
The Swiss international needs to go somewhere he can play regularly and be the fulcrum of a side’s attack.
He will be another with the Euros on his mind, which means he needs a move for regular football.
