Leeds gambled on German stopper Felix Wiedwald last summer and it backfired spectacularly.
He began well enough for the Whites to be comfortable getting rid of Rob Green, and then the error started piling in.
Leeds gave up on him in the second half of the season and chose to go with youngster Bailey Peacock-Farrell, who now appears to be a big part of their future.
Pawel Cibicki
Swedish talent Pawel Cibicki was bought to be Leeds’ X-factor in attack, but he barely made any impression at all.
He often failed to even make the substitute’s bench, having failed to impress two successive managers.
He would hope for third time unlucky under Marcelo Bielsa, but it would also not be a surprise if he has decided Leeds is not for him, and wants out already.
Hadi Sacko
Hadi Sacko’s loan spell at Leeds flattered to deceive, and it was a bit of a surprise that they chose to sign him permanently.
Unfortunately it did not pay off, with Sacko having a worse second season than his first.
In two years to showcase his talent, he looks below the standard required for a Championship play-off push, and it could be time to move on already.
