Newcastle fans have taken to Twitter to discuss a photo which has emerged following last night’s thumping at the hands of Leeds.
Steve Bruce’s men shipped five goals to Marcelo Bielsa’s side at Elland Road yesterday, suffering their heaviest defeat of the campaign in doing so.
What makes the result even more frustrating is the fact that the Magpies were in the game with just 25 minutes left, after Ciaran Clark equalised.
After full-time, a photo emerged showing Newcastle’s box just before Ezgjan Alioski netted the Yorkshire-based side’s fourth goal.
The image shows the Macedonia international, Mateusz Klich and Jack Harrison all stood inches away from Kark Darlow, with no Newcastle players in sight.
How the Leeds trio were allowed to literally queue up to score is baffling. Where are Bruce’s defenders? Or midfielders? Or any Magpies player who isn’t Darlow, in fact.
In the Premier League, one opposition player shouldn’t be getting that much space in the box, let alone three!

If the Tyneside-based outfit want to have a successful season, they simply can’t keep defending like this.
Newcastle supporters have every right to be infuriated by this photo.
Let’s see what they’ve been saying about the image on Twitter…
