Well, the Liverpool team news v Manchester City hasn’t been released just yet.
But already there’s been a big blow.
According to The Athletic, Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino will be absent in tonight’s Carabao Cup encounter away to Pep Guardiola’s side.
The report, written by James Pearce, states that the Brazilian attacker – a £29 million signing by the Reds [BBC Sport] – picked up an injury in training.
And due to a calf problem, will no longer be able to participate at the Etihad Stadium.

Liverpool team news v Manchester City
With Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota already sidelined, suffice to say this is a massive blow to the Anfield outfit’s chances of leaving Manchester with a victory.
As mentioned, the first XI hasn’t been released as of yet, but you wonder where and how Klopp is going to adequately replace Firmino in the starting lineup.
Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah have both travelled to the Etihad, as has Harvey Elliott and Bobby Clarke.
It isn’t ideal but the German manager may have to turn to a teenager to replace Firmino in the first XI tonight.
Remember, Liverpool are the reigning champions of the League Cup and will want to defend their title.
But based on this development, defeat looks even more likely for them now.
