Dallas, who can operate as a winger or as a wing-back and has also operated in central midfield for Leeds, has spoken highly of the 21-year-old, who can play as a striker, winger or attacking midfielder.
The 29-year-old Northern Ireland international has said that the Wales international has looked sharp and is an important player in head coach Marcelo Bielsa’s team.
Dallas told The Yorkshire Evening Post about Roberts: “Tyler has had a very difficult time with injuries and he’s been frustrated a lot because of the injuries.
“There’s no doubting that lad’s ability, he could turn you in a phonebox. I don’t know if that’s a saying from back home or whatever, but he could. He’s really, really good.
“He’s sharp, come back in good condition. It’s important that we keep him fit, he’s somebody who could make a massive difference to us.”
