Matt Turner has taken to Instagram to post a photo of himself wearing an Arsenal shirt, as his move to the Emirates Stadium nears completion.
What’s the story?
Well, Arsenal made progress in a bid to sign the 27-year-old during the January window, and he looks set to arrive in the Premier League this summer.
According to the Daily Mail, all the necessary paperwork has been signed by the Gunners, and the United States international will soon become an Arsenal player.
By the looks of things, that was a childhood dream for Turner.
As you can see above, the New England glovesman clearly holds the Gunners close to his heart, as he can be seen wearing the 2012/13 home shirt.
Turner captioned the photo: “Dream big little man, you never know how far it’ll take you”.
Without a doubt, this move has plenty of romance about it.
Arsenal signing Matt Turner might spell the end for Bernd Leno

When Turner arrives in north London, it could be a case of one in, one out for the Gunners.
According to The Athletic, Arsenal have given Bernd Leno permission to leave the club this summer as he seeks regular playing time.
The World Cup is on the horizon, and the Germany international is keen to secure a place in Hansi Flick’s side.

According to 90min, Newcastle wanted to sign Leno in January, so Tyneside could be a possible destination for the Arsenal shot-stopper.
So far this season, the 29-year-old has only made three Premier League appearances, after losing his place to Aaron Ramsdale.
When Turner arrives, it could be curtains for Leno at Arsenal.
