Tottenham Hotspur defender Ben Davies has said to the club’s Twitter account that Davinson Sanchez is one of the ‘strongest’ players he has ever met.
Sanchez has not featured much this season, but Davies insists that the Colombian has a lot of good quality.
And his power and strength is something which immediately impressed Davies when he first met the £42 million man (Guardian).
“One of the strongest people I’ve ever met,” Davies said.
“He’s quick, strong and such a good guy. He’s so funny and his English has got so much better since he’s arrived and he’s one of the big characters in the team.”
The positive words could serve as a much needed confidence boost for Sanchez, who has endured a difficult season at Spurs.

The powerful central defender appears to have fallen right down the pecking order, and may actually be behind Joe Rodon now.
Sanchez has played sporadically for Tottenham, but he doesn’t seem to have earned Jose Mourinho’s full trust yet.
There have even been tentative rumours that Sanchez could depart Spurs sooner rather than later, but any movement is surely far more likely to happen in the summer rather than this month.
