Tottenham Hotspur could take another run at signing Joachim Andersen this summer, according to reports – and Daniel Levy could potentially pull off a bargain.
The Athletic reported earlier this month that Tottenham were keen on the Lyon centre-back, who is on loan at Fulham.
Spurs have seen how the big defender has performed in the Premier League and it seems like they’re impressed.
According to The Telegraph, a figure of around £25 million could see Tottenham land the big 24-year-old this summer.
And suffice to say that some Lilywhites supporters are of the opinion that this could be a major bargain by Levy.
Tottenham have been linked with Andersen before but, obviously, nothing materialised in the past.
That being said, Jose Mourinho will know that he’s one or two quality defenders away from having a brilliant team, particularly if Harry Kane winds up staying in North London.
Davinson Sanchez’s performance against Newcastle last weekend, combined with Eric Dier’s struggle this season, illustrate that Mourinho, more than anything, needs central defenders this summer and maybe Andersen would represent a fine start to their business.
