There’s a reason this time of the year is called ‘silly season’ and Arsenal fans might be finding that out around now.

According to France Blue Nord, Arsenal are set to hijack Napoli’s move for the Lille centre-back and a switch to North London is genuinely on the table.
The 22-year-old made the mistake of doing an Instagram Live session with his followers on Wednesday.
One Arsenal fan asked him to touch his hat if he was moving to the Emirates Stadium, a stunt that football fans often try pull off with their transfer targets in a bid to gauge whether it’s happening.
And sure enough, the 22-year-old did indeed touch his hat, sending fans wild.
Is he joining?
He might join Arsenal, because that’s what the talk is about, but this probably wasn’t a hint more than it was a coincidental touch of his cap within seconds of being asked to.
It’s probably just a bit of silliness and another example that silly season has began.
