Yannick Bolasie has stated on Twitter that Anthony Gordon is the biggest upcoming talent at Everton.
Bolasie, who is back at Everton after a loan spell at Sporting Lisbon, played with Gordon for the Merseyside club’s Under-23 side.
The DR Congo international, who is unable to train with Everton at the moment, has said that 19-year-old forward Gordon knows how highly he rates him.
The 31-year-old winger – who has been on the books of the Toffees since the summer of 2016 when he joined from Crystal Palace for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £25 million – has added that he wants to stay at Everton and wants to get a chance under manager Carlo Ancelotti.
One for the future
Gordon is only 19 years and is just starting his professional club football career, and it is clear that he is still raw and developing.
However, there is no doubt that the forward is hugely talented, and he will get better and improve further in the coming years.
According to WhoScored, the teenager has made three starts and four substitute appearances in the Premier League for Everton this season, providing one assist in the process.
