Some Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation that Aston Villa are interested in Ibrox defender Filip Helander.
According to Aftonbladet, Rangers central defender Helander is wanted by Premier League duo Villa and Leicester City.
The 27-year-old has been on the books of Rangers since 2019 and has established himself as an important player in manager Steven Gerrard’s team.
According to WhoScored, the Sweden international central defender has scored one goal in 21 Scottish Premiership matches and scored one goal in four Europa League games for the Gers this season.
Rangers have won the Scottish Premiership title already this season and also reached the Europa League Round of 16.
Manager Gerrard is unlikely to be willing to sell any of his best players this summer, unless, of course, the Gers are made offers that are too good to turn down.
