Everton winger Yannick Bolasie has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Liverpool reportedly being granted special dispensation regarding the trophy presentation at Anfield.
As reported by The Liverpool Echo, the Premier League have granted Liverpool special dispensation to allow families of the squad to attend the trophy presentation at Anfield on Wednesday night.
The Reds, who have won the Premier League title this season, will take on Chelsea at Anfield tomorrow night.
After the match, Liverpool will be handed the league trophy, and The Liverpool Echo has claimed that the Premier League have granted the club special dispensation to have a small number of people outside the permitted personnel to attend.
According to the report, the Grounds Safety Advisory Group (GSAG) will make the final decision on Tuesday.
Bolasie is back from his loan spell at Sporting Lisbon, but the Everton winger is unable to train with his teammates.
The 31-year-old DR Congo international – who cost the Toffees £25 million in transfer fees in the summer of 2016, as reported by BBC Sport – has admitted his frustration on Twitter.
Meanwhile, Bolasie was impressed with the performance of Gylfi Sigurdsson during Everton’s 1-0 win against Sheffield United in the Premier League on Monday evening, while manager Carlo Ancelotti believes that forward Richarlison can still improve.
The Liverpool Echo quotes Ancelotti as saying about Richarlison after his goal saw the Toffees win against the Blades: “His performance was good. Where he has to improve, sometimes I think he can control the ball better and cover the ball better.”
