Everton winger Yannick Bolasie has stated on Twitter that he wants to score against Liverpool.
Bolasie, whose loan spell at Sporting Lisbon ran out at the end of last month, has said that right now he would love to score against Liverpool.
The Reds are Merseyside rivals of Everton and have also won the Premier League title this season.
The 31-year-old DR Congo international winger – who has been on the books of the Toffees since the summer of 2016 when he joined from Crystal Palace for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £25 million – has stated that he knows what a Merseyside derby means to the Everton fans.
Back in action
Everton will return to action on Sunday when they take on Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home in the Premier League.
The Toffees will head into the match on the back of a 1-1 draw with Southampton at Goodison Park in the league.
It is very unlikely that Everton will finish in the European places, but there is no doubt that they have made progress under manager Carlo Ancelotti.
