Everton and West Ham target Willian Jose says he intends to stay with Real Sociedad.
Real Sociedad’s Willian Jose
Willian Jose has been one of the breakout stars in La Liga this season, with his performances gaining transfer interest.
The Sun report Everton are keen on the forward, who is valued at around £25 million, with Calcio Mercato claiming West Ham are monitoring his progress.
The 25-year-old has been fielding questions on his future, and the Premier League sides face an uphill challenge to tempt him away from Real Sociedad.
The striker has 11 goals this season, following up the nine goals he scored for Las Palmas in 2015/16.
Speaking to Mundo Deportivo, Willian Jose said: “In my head there is only Real.
“It has been difficult to get here, and I have signed a good contract for five years that gives me peace of mind.”
The Brazilian’s mindset could of course be changed if Real Sociedad notify him they have accepted a bid, and he suddenly feels less wanted.
But for now the attacker appears fully focused on his La Liga role, and West Ham or Everton will be unable to count on him pushing for a move. If they are to land him, they will have to do all the running.
