Joachim Andersen has now decided that Tottenham Hotspur are the club he wants to join, Jack Pitt Brooke has reported on the View from the Lane podcast.
Tottenham are believed to be interested in the defender, who spent the season out on loan at Fulham.
Lyon are said to be willing to sell Andersen by the Telegraph, with Tottenham reportedly feeling that he could be a strong addition in central defence.
Andersen has been linked with a clutch of other Premier League sides.
But Pitt Brooke says that Andersen has decided that a move to Tottenham is the one which appeals to him the most.
“Joachim Andersen has chosen that he would like to come to Spurs, but Spurs don’t at the moment have a deal with Lyon,” the Athletic journalist said.
On the face of it the news that Andersen wants to sign looks appealing to Tottenham.
The £25 million-rated Dane (Telegraph) was a target under Jose Mourinho though, and it remains to be seen if Spurs will keep him on their wishlist when their new manager takes charge.

Tottenham are in dire need of central defenders, as doubts remain over almost all of their current options.
Toby Alderweireld is ageing, Eric Dier has struggled this season, Davinson Sanchez is still too error prone, and Joe Rodon remains inexperienced at the top level.
Andersen may have a relegation on his CV with Fulham this term, but he still managed to impress, and his leadership qualities will surely appeal to Spurs this summer.
