David Moyes has been quizzed on a number of topics ahead of West Ham’s game against Liverpool at Anfield tomorrow evening, with Pablo Fornals’ name on the agenda.
When asked about the Spaniard, Football London quote Moyes as saying: ‘He’s done really well. He’s a likeable boy, works hard, we are demanding more from him as we want more goals and assists.
‘He has been more involved, his energy and enthusiasm is incredible.’
It is interesting to see that the former Manchester United manager has pinpointed the 24-year-old’s energy and enthusiasm as traits which he finds ‘incredible’ – there’s no denying the latter quality is true.
Former West Ham man Jack Collison recently retweeted a video showing Fornals celebrating a number of goals scored by his teammates, in which he can be seen reacting passionately even when he wasn’t the one who netted.
In fact, enthusiastic would probably be the best word to sum up the terrier-like attacker who cost West Ham £24 million from Villarreal last summer.

After a patchy debut campaign, in which he only scored twice in 36 Premier League appearances, Fornals looks to be finding his feet.
He already has a goal and two assists in six league outings this term.

Additionally, WhoScored shows that West Ham’s No.18 records 1.5 shots per game and one key pass per game, which is pretty good going.
Fornals bagged a goal at Anfield last season, so let’s see if he can do it once again tomorrow.
