Tottenham Hotspur have beaten Barcelona in the race to sign Manor Solomon as he undergoes a medical today.
Manor Solomon was receiving strong interest from Barcelona but is set to complete a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
That is according to a report from The Athletic, who claim that Solomon had other suitors away from Tottenham.
RB Leipzig and even Barcelona are described to have had a ‘serious interest’ in signing Solomon this summer.
Solomon has picked Tottenham though and is ready to stay in the Premier League after spending last season with Fulham.
The Israeli international only started four Premier League games for Fulham last season but is clearly attracting major interest.
Solomon is out of contract at Shakhtar Donetsk in December but this remains a slightly complicated situation.
Solomon was able to suspend his contract last season due to the conflict in Ukraine and FIFA have ruled that he and others can do the same again this term.
That essentially makes Solomon a free agent but Shakhtar are confident that Tottenham will offer them some kind of remuneration.

Manor Solomon expected to undergo Tottenham medical today
Barcelona may well have been tempted by Solomon due to his bargain status this summer and their limited spending power.
Solomon wants Tottenham though and the deal is expected to go through very soon.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Solomon is expected to have a medical with Tottenham today.

A medical was initially scheduled for Tuesday but was pushed back to Thursday morning for some unknown reason.
Solomon has been in London this week to finalise his move and the next few hours will take him another step closer to finalising his move.
There appears to be no chance for Barcelona to get back in and sign Solomon, who is snubbing interest from the La Liga giants in favour of attempting to become a Premier League star with Spurs.
