Djed Spence did not have the best of times at Tottenham Hotspur, and the right-back has not made an ideal start to life at Leeds United either.
Leeds United signed Djed Spence from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.
The West Yorkshire club secured the services of Spence on loan from Premier League outfit Tottenham.

Leeds are playing in the Championship this season after getting relegated from the Premier League at the end of the last campaign.
Spence moved to Tottenham from Middlesbrough in 2022.
The 23-year-old right-back could not make an immediate impact at Spurs and was sent out on loan to Rennes for the second half of last season.
The English youngster had a mixed time in France.

Spence made seven starts and one substitute appearance in Ligue 1 for Rennes.
The right-back made two appearances in the UEFA Europa League as well.
Spence did well during his loan spell at Nottingham Forest and helped the Reds win promotion to the Premier League.
So, a loan move to Elland Road is seemingly perfect for the right-back.
After all, Leeds are aiming to bounce straight back to the Premier League.
Injury blow for Djed Spence
However, the former England Under-21 international has not made an ideal start to life at Leeds.
He is injured at the moment.
It is certainly not Spence’s fault that he has suffered an injury, but being out for the next few weeks is certainly a huge blow for him, especially after he looked decent during his cameo role against Sheffield Wednesday before the international break.
Leeds head coach Daniel Farke has said, as quoted in Leeds Live: “Yes, sad news with Spence because Djed has done his lateral ligaments”.
According to Leeds’s official website, “Spence picked up a knee injury following a challenge in training last week.”
The statement added that that Tottenham-owned defender “has damaged his lateral collateral ligament”.
It continued: “The injury is not expected to require surgery and we expect Djed to return to play within eight weeks.”
