Brandon Austin has penned a new contract at Tottenham until July 2024, with his previous deal due to expire at the end of the season. He has reacted on Instagram – as have the likes of Michel Vorm and Ryan Sessegnon.
Austin, 23, is yet to make his senior debut for Tottenham but has been on the bench under both Nuno Espirito Santo and Antonio Conte this term. In all competitions, he has been included in the matchday squad 13 times.

A player that has also been called-up by England’s Under-21 side and has an Under-18 United States appearance to his name, Austin is a regular for the 23’s. He has played 44 times, and gone on loan twice – Viborg and Orlando.
But his Tottenham spell, which began in 2015 after being released by Chelsea, looked set to come to an end this summer – however, Conte has handed him a deal for the next two years. He is delighted, on Instagram.
Austin signs Tottenham deal: Vorm, Sessegnon and others react
It is a deal that makes sense. Pierluigi Gollini is expected to depart at the end of the season having failed to impress during his loan spell from Atalanta. Hugo Lloris has penned a new deal, but turns 36 this year.
Tottenham need back-up between the sticks and while a new signing is likely, Austin is firmly third choice and could end up making his debut at some point over the next 18 months. Plenty responded on Instagram.
In the comments, the likes of Vorm, Sessegnon, Japhet Tanganga and Joe Hart all congratulated the goalkeeper.
