Tottenham Hotspur announced via their club website they have re-signed playmaker Christian Eriksen on an extended contract.
Eriksen’s new deal takes him up until 2020, and unlike most of the players who arrived alongside him in 2013, he is sticking around.

The Dane was one of seven players signed by the sporting director with money which would later be recouped with Gareth Bale’s world record sale, and only he and Erik Lamela remain at the club, with Nacer Chadli the latest to be sold.
