The former Fiorentina star netted twice in Milan’s 2-1 victory of Udinese, scoring twice in the opening half hour.
After providing an assist in the Europa League in midweek, Kalinic appears to be hitting his stride, and Everton should rue failing to push harder to sign him.
He struck 20 goals in all competitions for Fiorentina last season.
Everton sold Romelu Lukaku in the summer and their inability to effectively replace him is proving costly.
