Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are second in the Scottish Premiership.
Martyn Waghorn scored twice as Rangers edged out Hamilton with a 2-1 win on Friday.
The 26-year-old scored before and after the half-time break to give Rangers a comfortable 2-0 lead.
Dougie Imrie netted a consolation with 12 minutes left, but a consolation is all that it was as Mark Warburton’s troops stayed second in the Scottish Premiership.

The Gers hitman has endured a testing time of it in the top flight since Rangers’ promotion last season, having only scored once prior to the win at Hamilton.
Such was his poor form that the Bristol Post reported that Championship side Bristol City were weighing up a January move for the striker.
But Waghorn’s celebration certainly seemed like he was committed to Warburton’s side and team-mate Josh Windass was among those to highlight his contribution.

Rangers fans will hope that Waghorn can finally hit a bit of form just in time for the visit of Celtic to Ibrox on December 31. The Premiership title is already gone, but the Gers will be aiming to restore a bit of pride after losing the two Old Firm meetings this season.
One was 5-1 and the other was 1-0, with a last-minute winner from Moussa Dembele doing the damage, but both were very simple wins for Celtic and Warburton has to change that.
