Arsenal will be hoping to make it five wins on the bounce as the Gunners face Aston Villa on Wednesday evening.

The north London club have been punch-perfect in the Premier League so far, winning each of their first four matches, and while Fulham gave them a scare on Saturday, they came through their game against the Cottagers unscathed.

Mikel Arteta’s side will certainly fancy their chances of making it five in a row this midweek as they face an Aston Villa side that has been in disarray as of late.

Just one win in their opening four games has seen the pressure piled on Steven Gerrard in recent days, and Arsenal could compile the misery here.

With that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting the Gunners’ starting XI for this one.

If he could, we think Mikel Arteta would go unchanged for this game, but sadly, he’s going to be forced into a change due to injuries.

Both Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny are out of action for this one, so Albert Sambi Lokonga gets his first start of the season.

Meanwhile, Oleksandr Zinchenko is still recovering from his injury, so Kieran Tierney starts at left-back, but other than that, this is the same team we’ve grown accustomed to seeing this season.

Aaron Ramsdale, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes and Ben White start in the backline, while the brilliant front four of Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka look to continue their excellent starts to the season in the attacking third.
