Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has told the club’s official website that it will not be easy to win against Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur this week.

Henderson – who has been on the books of Liverpool since the summer of 2011 when he joined from Sunderland for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £20 million – believes that Tottenham are a great team and have a good manager in Jose Mourinho.

The Reds will take on Spurs at Anfield in the Premier League on Wednesday evening.

While Jurgen Klopp’s played out a 1-1 draw with Fulham on Sunday, Tottenham were held to a 1-1 draw by Crystal Palace.

Henderson told Liverpool’s official website: “Every game is big but Spurs are doing really well. Great team, great manager, so it’ll be another tough game. But we need to recover, get ready and give everything again.”

Big game

Tottenham and Liverpool are level on 25 points at the top of the Premier League table, and Wednesday’s game will be massive.

Of course, it is not going to decide the title, but the side that win it will get massive psychological advantage.

It should be a very good and intriguing game to watch, and one should not be surprised if the two sides are separated by a goal at Anfield.
