Some Arsenal fans have responded to Emiliano Martinez’s post on Twitter ahead of the game against Aston Villa this weekend.
Arsenal will take on Villa at the Emirates Stadium in North London in the Premier League on Sunday evening.
Martinez is likely to start for the Villans, with the Argentine goalkeeper having established himself in the starting lineup.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper joined Villa from Arsenal in the summer of 2020 for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £20 million.
Although Martinez played well for Arsenal in the final weeks of last season, Bernd Leno was reinstated as the first-choice goalkeeper at the start of the 2020-21 campaign once he regained full fitness.
The Argentine decided to make the switch to Villa, and on Sunday evening, he will come up against his former club.
