Aston Villa central defender Tyrone Mings has congratulated Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane on Instagram on scoring his 150th goal in the Premier League.
Kane scored for Tottenham in their win against West Bromwich Albion away from home at The Hawthorns in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The England international’s goal in the 88th minute proved to be the difference between the two sides.
As reported by talkSPORT, it was the 27-year-old’s 150th goal in the Premier League and took him to joint-ninth in the all-time scoring charts.
Villa central defender Mings – who cost the Villans an initial £20 million in transfer fees when they made his loan deal permanent in the summer of 2019, as reported by The Guardian – has congratulated his England international teammate on his achievement, and so has former Tottenham striker Robbie Keane.
Mings wrote: “Congrats mate 🙌🏽”
Keane responded: “Congrats pal 👏👏💪”
Going strong
Kane is one of the best strikers in the world, and it is remarkable how the Englishman scores goals on a regular basis in each and every season.
If the striker continues at this rate, then he could end up as the top scorer of all time in the Premier League.
