The striker is set to return to the club he had an exceptional loan spell with in 2014-15.
It is looking increasingly likely that Middlesbrough are set to complete the permanent transfer of striker Patrick Bamford after having a bid for the player accepted this week.
The forward is set to join Boro in a deal that may rise to as much as £10 million according to The Guardian.
Of course, Middlesbrough fans will be very pleased to hear the news that Bamford is closing in on a move to the club.

He has already been at the club, on a loan deal back in the 2014-15 season.
He scored 19 goals in 44 appearances that season and was also named the Championship Player of the Year as Middlesbrough narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier League.
When he left the club in the summer of 2015 he was clearly hoping that, one day, he might return. He sent this tweet to Middlesbrough fans after leaving the club:
Bamford now has his wish, but will need to rediscover his form from that golden season.
Loan spells at Crystal Palace, Norwich City and Burnley have not worked out for him since and Boro fans will hope they are getting the Bamford they know so well.
