Arsenal defensive midfielder Thomas Partey may not now leave the Gunners in the summer transfer window, according to a report.
Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Arsenal defensive midfielder Thomas Partey has now got a good chance to stay at the club.
The Italian journalist has claimed that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is happy with Partey.
Romano has added that Arsenal could sell Partey for a huge bid, adding that the North London club are looking for €40-45 million (£34.30-£38.59 million).
On June 18, Romano reported on Twitter that there was a “concrete chance for Thomas Partey to leave Arsenal this summer”.
It seems that there has been a complete U-turn regarding the future of the £200,000-a-week (Spotrac) 30-year-old star.
Arsenal should keep Thomas Partey
In our opinion, Arsenal should keep Thomas Partey and not sell him in the summer transfer window.
Yes, of course, we know that all players have their price, but we do not think that the Gunners should actively look to offload the 30-year-old this summer.
Yes, Declan Rice joined West Ham United this summer, but Granit Xhaka left.

Partey played very well for most of last season and is a senior figure in the squad.
Let us not forget that Arsenal will play in the UEFA Champions League next season, and Partey has experience of playing in the competition with Atletico Madrid.
Partey has made 81 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
The Arsenal star has scored five goals and given three assists in those games.
Arsenal will be determined to win the Premier League title next season.
Manager Mikel Arteta needs a big squad, and Partey will play his role in the North London club’s quest for success next season.
