Liverpool’s fate in terms of Champions League qualification is now in their own hands after Chelsea did them a massive favour by beating Leicester on Tuesday evening.

The Reds know that if they win their final two games then, barring a hefty goal difference swing, they will be playing Champions League football next term.

Of course, winning any football match is easier said than done, and Liverpool certainly face tricky opposition on Wednesday as they play Burnley at Turf Moor.

Burnley of course turned Liverpool over at Anfield earlier this season, so this isn’t going to be an easy match for the Reds.

In order to get a win here Jurgen Klopp will have to get his team selection spot on, and with that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting the Reds’ starting XI for this one.

We think that Klopp will make just the one change here as Curtis Jones drops out for Georginio Wijnaldum.

Liverpool’s ongoing injury problems mean that they don’t have the luxury of being able to rotate all that much here, so the team is very similar to the one we saw against West Brom.

Klopp said that Diogo Jota has a very small chance of playing in this match, but we don’t think he’ll risk him from the start, therefore, Roberto Firmino comes into the XI.
