Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on signing the Frenchman this month.

According to a report from the Sun, Tottenham are lining up a £20 million bid for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot this month, and should they be successful in their pursuit of the Frenchman, it could end up being one of the signings of the century for the north London outfit.
Spurs have made some great additions throughout the years including the likes of Christian Erisken for around £12.5 million and Toby Alderweirled for somewhere in the region of £11.5 million, but the potential capture of Rabiot, 23, would be right up there.
The PSG ace is a wonderfully cultured deep-lying midfielder, and he possesses excellent vision, as well as an impressive range of passing.
Tottenham are in desperate need of another central midfielder, having lost Mousa Dembele to China this month, and despite the fact that Rabiot is a completely different player to the Belgian, he would be a wonderful replacement, especially for just £20 million.

The France international is comfortable when in possession, and is an extremely silky operator. He moves with grace and finesse, and would undoubtedly help Spurs improve upon the fluidity of their play through the middle of the pitch.
£20 million for a player of Rabiot’s calibre in today’s day and age really has to be considered as mere pocket change, and should Tottenham end up bringing him to north London, he could turn out to be one of the most significant incomings at the club over the past 20 years.
