Jay Bothroyd wants Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal to sign former Tottenham Hotspur defender Kyle Walker-Peters from relegated Southampton.
Back in 2020, Tottenham sold their academy product, Kyle Walker-Peters, to Southampton, but Bothroyd now thinks Arsenal could sign him between ‘£20-30 million’, as he posted on Twitter.
There is every chance the 26-year-old heads for the exit door when the summer transfer re-opens because the Saints will be playing Championship football next season.

It has been a season to forget for those in the South Coast, who are not only heading down, but they are going to finish bottom of the Premier League table.
Walker-Peters has been a part of that team, but given that he has been one of his side’s better performers over the years, then it wouldn’t be a surprise if a team in England’s top-flight comes knocking for him.
Could the versatile fullback return to north London? But to the destination of Tottenham’s rivals? Well, Bothroyd certainly wants that to happen in an ‘ideal world’.
ARSENAL TOO GOOD FOR WALKER-PETERS
There was a point when Walker-Peters was hitting his best form and even earning caps for England.
But he isn’t what Arsenal need right now, even if Mikel Arteta needs to further boost his fullback areas, especially the right-hand side.
Players like Joao Cancelo have been linked with Arsenal, that’s the type of player the Gunners need, not Walker-Peters.
