Harry Kane started for Tottenham Hotspur against Stoke City at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Sunday, but he failed to score.
On Sunday, Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino finally listened to the calls of the fans and handed Harry Kane a start against Stoke City.
With Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado both struggling for goals, Kane was supposed to provide the bright spark up front which would see Spurs pick up all three points from the Premier League clash at White Hart Lane.
Things, though, did not go according to plan. Kane failed to score and Tottenham lost 2-1.

As stats above show, Kane did not have a great game and left much to be desired. However, there were positives in the 21-year-old’s performance.
For example, Kane took four attempts out of which two were on target. He also created one chance and won one dribble in the 90 minutes.
Kane has a lot to learn and a lot to improve upon, but he showed against Stoke that he can step up.
Of the three recognised forwards at his disposal, the England Under-21 international is the only one with confidence. Pochettino needs to persevere with him.
