Arsenal hitman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang touched the ball 19 times in 90 minutes against Liverpool last night.

It was an anonymous performance by the Arsenal hitman and another reminder that they need an upgrade.

The Gunners captain will be 33 by the start of next season and really, they should be looking at a younger model.

One player who could replace Aubameyang long term is Dusan Vlahovic.

And the 21-year-old has just offered another reminder over why he’s so highly rated.

The Serbian marksman scored twice in Fiorentina’s 4-3 win over AC Milan last night.

In doing so, Vlahovic, whom Arsenal have an agreement to sign for £68 million [Di Marzio], has now netted 12 times in 14 games this season.

Lethal

This man is absolutely lethal and at 21, will still get so much better.

It seems almost too good to be true for Arsenal to get him.

The North Londoners are a big club, but one without Champions League football since 2016 and perhaps even next season, too.

Vlahovic, who also set up a goal v Milan, is one of Europe’s hottest young strikers, second to only Erling Haaland perhaps.

And if Mikel Arsenal and Edu do indeed sign him, what a massive coup it could be for Arsenal.
