A lot of Arsenal fans hold Santi Cazorla in the highest regard.

The Spanish playmaker joined the Gunners in the summer of 2012 and went on to spend six years in North London.

The latter part of Cazorla’s spell at Arsenal was decimated by injury and in 2017 he revealed that a botched ankle surgery almost led to his foot being amputated.

But for the first couple of years, the 36-year-old was an absolute magician for Arsene Wenger and one who the supporters still remember fondly for the ambidexterity and moments of pure wizardry.

And the same is true for Yannick Bolasie, evidently.

Today is Cazorla’s birthday and Arsenal officially paid tribute to the legendary midfielder on Twitter – and here’s how the Everton player responded:

Since being released by Arsenal two-and-a-half years ago, Cazorla is finally injury free and looks to be staying fit.

These days he plays for Al Sadd in Qatar, after 70 league games for Villarreal following his exit from North London.
