Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck gave a good account of himself against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.
Danny Welbeck has not been exactly great for Arsenal, but he has not been bad either. And the pattern continued on Sunday.
The England international striker started for the Gunners against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium in the Premier League and gave a decent performance.
The 23-year-old provided the assist for Alexis Sanchez’s goal and linked up well with the Chilean forward and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
| Total Pass | Accurate Pass | Total Shots | Shots on Target | Goal Assist | Key Passes | Big Chance Missed | Total Tackles | Tackles Won | Total Dribbles | Dribbles Won | Mins Played | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Danny Welbeck | 17 | 14 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 3 | 2 | 90 |
As stats above show, Welbeck worked hard and had a good game on a personal level. Only three of his 17 passes were misplaced, and he won two of the three dribbles he attempted.
Welbeck is still struggling for goals, but against Swansea he was good outside the box and provided an important focal point on the counter-attack.
