Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted to the rumours that Cristian Romero, Davinson Sanchez and Giovan Lo Celso are due back in England on Saturday.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side take on Rennes in the newly-formed Europa Conference League on Thursday, before their showdown with Chelsea.

But it seems as though the Spurs faithful have been given a bit of a boost ahead of the weekend.

The Daily Mail claim that Nuno’s centre-back worries could be eased with the arrival of Sanchez and Romero – 24 hours before Chelsea’s visit.

It is suggested that Eric Dier, who had to limp off during Tottenham’s defeat at Crystal Palace, is touch-and-go for the weekend.

Whilst Japhet Tanganga is suspended after picking up two yellow cards during the match.

So, it’s understandable that Spurs fans are pleased that the above players are returning.

Although given the team Chelsea have and the form they are in, many are still expecting a defeat.

Either way, Romero could be in line for his first Premier League start, and Sanchez will be hoping to continue his strong start to the campaign.

There is Joe Rodon to also choose from and the option of playing three at the back, given that’s the system in which Thomas Tuchel plays.

Here is a selection of Spurs fans reacting to the news on the Sanchez, Lo Celso and Romero:
