Crystal Palace glovesman Jack Butland has finally been spotted in training for the first time since his deadline day move from Stoke City.
The England international joined the Eagles on October 16th for just £1 million, signing a three-year contract at Selhurst Park according to the BBC.
However, the former Birmingham shot-stopper sadly contracted coronavirus almost immediately after signing for the south Londoners, as the Independent reported.
That forced Butland to self-isolate, but 18 days after his arrival, he was finally spotted in training yesterday on November 3rd.
Crystal Palace’s official Twitter account shows the 27-year-old in action out on the training pitches.
Butland has a mission on his hands to get any game-time at Selhurst Park ahead of Vicente Guaita.
The Spaniard has emerged as Roy Hodgson’s undisputed No.1 since arriving from Getafe in 2018.
He kept ten clean sheets in the Premier League last season, and has also earned the Eagles a number of points single-handedly with some incredible reflex saves.

It appears that Butland will have to settle for being Wayne Hennessey’s replacement for now.
The Wales international is currently sidelined with injury, although his contract in SE25 expires at the end of the campaign anyway.
Palace have done extremely well to bring a fairly young goalkeeper of Butland’s experience in, and also for a bargain fee.
