Radamel Falcao will prove to be a smart signing for Manchester United according to an ex-pro.
Former Manchester United midfielder Bryan Robson believes the club’s loan signing Radamel Falcao will come good at the right time.
The Colombian international moved on loan from AS Monaco on transfer deadline day, but despite his previous goal-scoring record he has only found the net once for Louis van Gaal’s side, as a series of injuries and spells on the bench have prevented him from getting into his rhythm.
But in an interview with Talk Sport, the former United star indicated that van Gaal’s side would still get their money’s worth having forked out a considerable amount in wages.
“I’m sure he will be a big player for Manchester United when it really matters,” Robson said
That could be this afternoon when Liverpool come to town, or more likely it will be at the business-end of the campaign, when United will be hoping to be pushing for a title that looked beyond them just a few weeks ago but now looks anything but.
