The Danish youth international is still awaiting a first-team debut with the club.

Nottingham Forest youngster Frederik Fisker has been speaking to the press in Denmark about his struggles at the club, as he still waits to make his first-team debut for the club.
The 19-year-old centre-back has been talking to Ekstra Bladet about how he was enjoying training with the Forest first-team under Philippe Montanier, but now his under-23 boss Gary Brazil has taken charge of the first-team this has changed:
“There, I felt that I was so close that I next fight would be on the bench. Argh, the next match so. There I was quite optimistic.
“Then came our coach up and take the first team the rest of the season, and since I have not been up there. Join fetched to six new players in January, so now there are 31-32 players. This makes it more difficult to get into.”
Plenty of young talents have thrived at Forest this season. Matty Cash recently signed a new deal, Ben Brereton looks a revelation and Joe Worrall is becoming a first-team regular.
But Fisker has struggled to make the breakthrough and would welcome the chance to head out on loan somewhere in the near future:
“For me it is right now about to be challenged enough. I feel like I’m getting better every day. That I miss a little sometimes. Now I have trained with the U23 team for two years, and my contract expires this summer.
“I’ve always been really happy to be here and I’ve got the chance. But I miss the challenge. Perhaps it (will come), and I’ll just be patient. But being rented out could be interesting.”

However, the Danish youth international is out of contract at Forest in the summer. It is looking more and more likely that his time at the club, who he joined from Viborg in September 2014, may be coming to an end.
At 19 he is yet to make a breakthrough and has also struggled to find playing time with the Danish youth teams.
It might be best if this is his last season with Nottingham Forest.
