Khayon Edwards has intimated on Twitter that he might be set for an Arsenal promotion.
The 19-year-old striker was reportedly set to be brought to Elland Road for the Gunners’ Premier League fixture with Leeds United this past weekend.
That didn’t materialise though after it emerged that Gabriel Jesus – who Edwards supposed to cover in the squad – wound up shaking off his knock.
But it does look like he’ll be included in Arsenal’s Europa League squad tomorrow night.
Mikel Arteta’s side welcome PSV Eindhoven to the Emirates Stadium and going by Edwards’s tweet on Tuesday, he’s going to be included.

Here’s what he posted on Twitter last night:
Edwards’s omission from the Under-21 outing last night can only mean that he’s either injured or he’s being included tomorrow evening – and having been scheduled to make the visit to Leeds, it’s probably the latter.
Obviously he is unlikely to start against the Dutch side, because Arsenal still have to win and this is Eddie Nketiah’s only real competition in which he can shine this season.
Nketiah is almost certainly going to spearhead the Gunners’ attack but, with it being a home fixture, the North Londoners can blow away their Dutch counterparts tomorrow.
There’s no doubt that Arteta’s side are capable of an emphatic victory and if that’s transpiring to be the case, don’t be surprised to see Edwards come off the bench at some stage.
The Spanish manager has already given Ethan Nwaneri a Premier League debut this season, aged only 15.
So it wouldn’t be a shock to see Edwards – who scored 16 goals in 16 Under-18 outings last season – get a senior debut.
