As Tottenham Hotspur’s potential winger signings slip away, perhaps it is time for them to reconsider interest in long-term target Andriy Yarmolenko.
Already this summer Spurs have missed out on Wilfried Zaha, Bruma, and Douglas Costa is set to sign with Juventus.
Yarmolenko is a name a long time claimed to be on Tottenham’s radar, who shows no sign of slowing down at Dynamo Kiev.

The Ukrainian scored 19 goals this past season and provided 10 assists, and now has scored 133 times for the club.
He is a three-time league winner in Ukraine and at 27-years-old, now could be the time to move before he misses his window.

Yarmolenko has been linked with Spurs throughout Mauricio Pochettino’s time at the club. The Sun reported last August that they were considering a £18 million for the winger.
ESPN claimed in 2015 that Tottenham were also plotting a move, but so far the winger has resisted a transfer.
One concern for Spurs would be the £100,000 per week wages Yarmolenko commands, but this is still just about within the club’s range – and only narrowly more than the £95,000 wage they are paying Moussa Sissoko.
The Sun reported in January that Kiev could be ready to cash in on the Ukrainian international, and he is certainly worthy of close consideration by Spurs as they look to strengthen ahead of next season.
