There’s been a very interesting development regarding Albert Sambi Lokonga’s move to Arsenal.
The 21-year-old midfielder is heavily tipped to join Arsenal this summer.
La Derniere Heure in Belgium have reported that the Anderlecht star is set to sign for the Gunners in what’ll be an £18.5 million deal.
According to Nieuwsblad, the player is set to be omitted from Anderlecht’s squad photo ahead of the 2021-22 campaign

No Bissouma?
If and when this happens, it may just suggest that a move for Yves Bissouma is off the table.
The Brighton is the midfielder most linked with a move to Arsenal and has been over the past couple of months.
But with Lokonga and Bissouma being of a similar mould, it makes zero sense to sign both.
The latter would’ve cost £30 million and is therefore a bit more expensive than his Belgian counterpart, but the Seagulls star also has Premier League experience and therefore it’s a bit of a gamble on Arsenal’s part.
