Malachi Fagan-Walcott has been left blown away by Tanguy Ndombele in Tottenham Hotspur training.
The 18-year-old has had a little taste of senior football at Spurs, having made his debut in a Champions League defeat by Leipzig last season.
But the Spurs academy graduate is, like many teenagers, no stranger to Jose Mourinho’s training sessions at Hotspur Way.
And the youngster, who joined Dundee on loan from Tottenham last month, has revealed that one player sticks out – Ndombele.
He told The Evening Telegraph: “Who are the best players in training? It’s difficult because they are all good, but Tanguy Ndombele is technically so good.
“You think you can get the ball off him but you can’t, he’s so quick.”
Ndombele is having a brilliant second year at Tottenham.
His first was a little hit and miss and almost resulted in him leaving North London following frustrations toward Mourinho, but chairman Daniel Levy intervened and things are looking up.
The former Lyon midfielder, the Lilywhites club-record signing of £63 million, has really silenced his critics and emerged as one of the team’s best players this season and, from Mourinho’s perspective, long may it last.
